Product Classification

Tradeflow offers access to the HS classification, duties, trade agreements, and taxes for over 160 countries. This data is integrated into the Product Management module to enable users to search for and validation classifications, and retrieve duty rates. It is also accessible directly through the Trade Reference module, where users can search the classifications by tariff number or description; view the duty and tax rates in the Duty Tax Quote tool, or run an Estimated Landed Cost.

Users will be able to find the fully qualified Harmonized Tariff Schedule that is appropriate for their commodity, based on the Legal Description associated with the tariff code. That includes classification codes, and duties and taxes. Once classified, a process can be created in order to regularly bounce the tariff against the trade content to check its validity. If a code has been found Invalid, Tradeflow will send an email notification to the customer for review.
